The Horse Prayer is a faith based therapeutic equine center founded on April 13, 2017, to serve individuals with special needs in Grays Harbor and surrounding communities. This program offers on-site, certified instructors, therapy professionals, trained volunteers. We will be accepting applications for equine assisted therapy in the near future. The Horse Prayer is a newer non-profit organization. We provide a faith-based environment for individuals and groups with disabilities to thrive and feel empowered through equine-assisted therapy. Our program provides the opportunity for life-changing experiences and consistently interacts with our local and surrounding community therapeutic professionals to help achieve successful futures for the physical, emotional and mentally disabled.

Our vision at The Horse Prayer is to create and carry out a tranquil and enriching environment for the disabled by means of unmounted horsemanship. It is our goal to become a facility that not only serves our local community but extends beyond those borders and reaches out to others in need. We intend to serve the disabled with our certified on-site instructors who are passionate about the personal experience they will translate to the disabled through lessons, hippotherapy and the connection that is unspoken between an animal and a human being.
Our ultimate goal at The Horse Prayer is to become one of the highest regarded special needs facilities on the West Coast with faith guiding processes. We would like our facility to be a self-sustaining nonprofit organization that will function through means of fundraisers, donations, scholarships, and contributions.
